Senior Director for Philanthropy
Jeannie Stuyvesant is a senior director for philanthropy, serving as the lead fundraiser for the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (ISCRM). Jeannie leads the Neurosciences team, who raise funds to support medical care and research advances in a variety of conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, movement disorders, traumatic brain injury, autism, spinal cord injury, and brain tumors.
Prior to joining UW Medicine in 2018, Jeannie spent six years fundraising for IslandWood, most recently serving as the director for an ambitious comprehensive campaign. She began her career in fundraising as a grant writer, maintaining a diverse portfolio of nonprofit clients in Minnesota and Washington.
Jeannie is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and first came to the Pacific Northwest to attend the University of Puget Sound, where she holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies.
