Director for Alumni Relations
Katelin is the director for Alumni Relations at UW Medicine, overseeing engagement of School of Medicine alumni of all types, primarily through programs and events which connect them with one another and with current students. Katelin started her career in fundraising at her alma mater, Gonzaga University, as a student caller, and spent the past eight years in education, development, public relations and administration. Prior to taking on her current role, Katelin served the alumni team by managing the HOST and SAID programs, and spent a year as the assistant to the CAO and AVP of UW Medicine Advancement. Before coming to UW, she worked in nonprofit development at La Biblioteca, a large community-based educational and cultural center in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and her teaching credential from Gonzaga University, taught middle- and high-school English for five years, and received her master’s degree from the UW.
Katelin enjoys getting to know the School’s alumni — here in Seattle and throughout the WWAMI region — and working with them to foster a lifelong connection with each other and their School.
