Matthew is part of the UW Medicine health system advancement team, concentrating on raising funds for patient-centered and hospital-based care and resources. Matthew’s primary areas of focus at UW Medicine are Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, Airlift Northwest and the primary/urgent care Neighborhood Clinics network. Prior to this role, Matthew served in various higher education advancement positions at Washington State University and University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Most recently, he worked as major gifts officer for St. John’s University School of Law in New York City.
Matthew grew up in Sammamish, Wash., and is a graduate of O’Dea High School in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood. He received a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University, graduating magna cum laude, and a juris doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law. Matthew’s personal interests include spending quality time with family, traveling and playing tennis.
