Associate Vice President, Campaign
Randy provides strategic direction to the overall planning and implementation of UW Medicine’s portion of the University-wide fundraising campaign. He also leads three fundraising teams that focus their efforts on generating philanthropic support for the neurosciences, the UW Department of Medicine and all entities within the UW Medicine health system. Finally, he oversees the donor relations, reporting and data management team, as well as the communications team and the special events team.
Randy started his role at UW Medicine in 2014. His nearly 20 years of nonprofit fundraising experience have included roles at Stanford University, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, Seattle Children’s and Swedish Health Services. His background includes a broad range of advancement roles, including prospect research, annual giving, planned giving, major gifts and campaign planning. He attended Stanford University where he received a B.A. in international relations. When not at work, Randy enjoys spending time with his wife, Marci, and their three children, Maddie, Miller and Mallory.
