Assistant Director for Philanthropy
Savannah is an assistant director for philanthropy, raising funds for the UW Medicine Eye Institute. Savannah began at UW Medicine in 2017, prior to which she served on the Advancement team at the UW School of Public Health. During her two years of service there, Savannah led event management, volunteer engagement, and donor stewardship efforts for the School. She found her passion for a career in philanthropy during a summer in a rotational internship following her graduation from University of Washington. Like a true husky alum, Savannah speaks proudly of her experience as a campus tour guide, orientation leader, undergraduate researcher, and peer instructor for incoming first-year huskies. She stays involved by mentoring students in the Husky Leadership Initiative and by serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors for North Helpline food bank and emergency services, a non-profit organization that serves the community in North Seattle.
