Thanks to action by GPSS, ASUW, and the Provost Advisory Committee for Students, a rushed proposal for a new fee on international students has been tabled for more consideration.

Senator Patty Murray and President Young at a press conference today talking about the need to keep interest rates on federally subsidized student loans at a reasonable rate. Unfortunately grad and professional students will lose subsidized loans starting July 1st as a result of the deficit reduction deal last August.
