Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee

The duties of the Secretary, as Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee (DRAC) coordinator:

  • Meet quarterly with the University Ombudsman as a liaison
  • Coordinate meetings between DRAC Senators and students in need of their services
  • Manage the quarterly DRAC meetings
  • Collect and compile reports from each of the DRAC Senators in their service to students  

The duties of the DRAC Senators:

  • Act as “process advocates” for students who are in disputes with other members of the University community
  • Act as neutral observers, but not advocates, for those students who request such services, in the formal or informal hearing of a dispute
  • Review and update the DRAC guidelines annually
  • Submit reports to the GPSS Secretary detailing their services to students as DRAC Senators
  • Any other duties deemed necessary in advising GPSS in University dispute protocol

Members:  The Secretary and three to five Senators.

Meetings: At least once per quarter.
