Plan to Grade

Among the tools you can find in this section are sets of questions that can help you assess your grading practices and develop a grading plan.

We highly recommend Frisbie & Waltman's article on "Developing a Personal Grading Plan" as a great first step to understanding issues involved in developing sound grading practices.  A page listing the pros and cons of common grading practices might also be of service. Many times however, speaking directly with someone familiar with grading practices used on campus is the most productive place to start. You can find these human resources under UW Centers.

As always, we are eager for your feedback and would appreciate any insights you could share!
