This site was originally constructed over the summer and autumn of 1998 by Suzanne Lepeintre under the auspices of the Faculty Council on Academic Standards and through a grant from the UW Office of Educational Assessment. Ms. Lepeintre was able to mold the discussions of the Council into an organized resource for faculty at the University of Washington. Her efforts, vision, and diligence are greatly appreciated and acknowledged.

In the summer of 2001 Stephen Gillmore redesigned the site with improved graphic design and easier navigation. His excellent use of color and visual orientation elements have greatly improved the overall look of the site.
