Sigma Alpha Epsilon

At Sigma Alpha Epsilon, we believe the purpose of fraternity is to enhance the college experience by giving our members ample opportunities to have fun in a variety of social settings, while at the same time providing an environment that is conducive to academic success. By living and interacting together in such an enjoyable atmosphere, the members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon form many friendships that last our entire lives. At SAE we strive to take bright and promising young men and transform them into \True Gentlemen\. The ideals of the \True Gentleman\ have guided the men of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and have helped them become the largest fraternity in the nation with nearly 300,000 initiates. Our 155 years of history nationally has developed a tradition of excellence, while we at the University of Washington have upheld that same tradition since our founding locally over 100 years ago.
