August 14th-18th, 2013
This year, the Interfraternity Council is sponsoring a 5 day recruitment event specifically for those men who live out of state, or who live a long distance away from the University. Our fraternity recruitment is an informal proccess that goes year round, and this week is not required to join a fraternity. If traveling to campus is difficult for you, this option will give you the opportunity to stay in University housing while exploring the fraternity community. From Wednesday, August 14th to Sunday, August 18th, you would have the opportunity to tour at least 16 of our fraternities, explore what our greek life has to offer, and find the fraternity for you. Food and housing will be provided for all men through University Housing and Food Services.
Registration has closed for 2013
Please try to be at the University of Washington by 3pm, shuttles will be provided from SeaTac Airport leaving at 1 and 2pm. Our events will conclude on Sunday, August 18th around 11am and shuttles will again be providing transportation to SeaTac Airport to arrive at SeaTac no later than 1pm.
If you are unable to arrive at these times, please contact us at email@example.com with your travel details.
We will be spending the night in the residence halls at night and a meal plan will be provided. Every morning, breakfast will be available to attendees as well as providing credit at night to spend on dining. It is the expectation that the men will get meals through recruitment events for lunch, but you will be able to use your food credit at the residence halls for lunch should food not be provided at a recruitment event.
As we are staying the residence halls, there is not maid staff and attendees must bring their own linens, blankets, pillows, and towels.
We will be making nightly runs to target per request by students in case anyone forgets any necessities.
