GTTL Studies Program for Working Professionals Busy, mid-career professionals can also benefit from Global Trade, Transportation, and Logistics Studies by enrolling in the evening certificate program in Global Supply Chain Management. Offered through the University of Washington's Extension Program, this certificate is equivalent to the GTTL Studies Certificate that full-time graduate students earn. Through a series of seminars on international trade logistics, professionals build their skills in analyzing and managing trade and transportation networks, learn practical knowledge for career development, and devise a final project that relates to their professional interests and goals. Extension students also have the opportunity to network with regional business and public sector contacts, including their classmates who hail from a variety of Puget Sound area organizations. Instructors from the GTTL Studies Program teach the courses, periodically inviting guest speakers from the public and private sector to share their expertise. Classes are scheduled in the late afternoon and evening to accommodate professionals' schedules. The Global Supply Chain Management Certificate is typically completed in three quarters.
