Why Study GTTL?
The Global Trade, Transportation, and Logistics Studies program provides students with practical knowledge and skills that can be applied to careers in business and government. Graduates enter the workforce with a fundamental understanding of how to move goods and materials through our world's vast and complex transportation network, how to navigate through the legal and regulatory framework of international commerce, and how to utilize technology solutions for efficient and secure trade and communications.

The interdisciplinary nature of the GTTL Studies program enables students to analyze systems and problems from multiple perspectives, and to collaborate with colleagues from different fields-skills that today's employers demand. The Certificate Program supplements the student's regular graduate degree.

In addition to preparing students for a variety of careers, the GTTL Studies Certificate Program introduces students to industry and government professionals through networking and internship opportunities. Our Advisory Board and professional network span a wide range of national and regional organizations, representing both the public and private sectors.

Students who complete the program receive:

  • Official Graduate Certificate in Global Trade, Transportation, and Logistics Studies
  • Notation on academic transcript
  • Letter of Achievement signed by student's Dean and the Dean of the Graduate School
