Goals
The Center has three overarching goals.
- To contribute scientific discoveries that improve the health and wellbeing of women, adolescents, and children.
- To develop and nurture new leaders in science, education, implementation, and policy who will contribute to the field.
- To foster collaborative approaches that are:
- Interdisciplinary: We will form partnerships that aspire to convergence, yielding unique outcomes that otherwise could not occur
- Intersecting: The Center will focus on projects that address the lifecycle in the intersections between women and children
- Integrated: The Center will aspire to coherence of interventional approaches
- Incremental: When possible, projects will address multiple concurrent outcomes.
