Visits from the GYRE Team

The GYRE team would like to visit interested schools, museums, or other educational groups in the Seattle area to talk with them about the robot, how it works, and about their upcoming flight. If you know of or represent a school, group, or museum that might be interested in a visit from the GYRE team, please contact contact David Bliss at dbliss@u.washington.edu to arrange a visit.

Past Visits
The GYRE team visited Geneva Elementary School in Bellingham, WA, on November 26, 2002. Pictures from that event are available as well as links to the presentations given that day.
The GYRE Team was a special guest of the Pacific Science Center during their Space Event on May 4 and 5, 2002. Pictures from that event are now available.

The GYRE team visited Lawton Elementary School in the spring of 2002. We have some letters from the schoolchildren available online. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the letters.
