Our Staff
Introduction
Health Alliance International draws staff members and advisors from around the world. Additionally, the rich experience and expertise of University of Washington faculty, graduate students, and volunteers add greatly to our work. In particular, our technical staff have substantial experience in many aspects of international health, including in the following areas:
- Primary health care strengthening
- Maternal & child health programs
- Immunizations, oral re-hydration therapy, growth monitoring, nutritional supplementation, prenatal/birth/postnatal care
- STD/AIDS programs
- Family planning
- Refugee and migrant worker services
- Epidemiological investigations of endemic/epidemic disease patterns and their implications for health services
- Policy research on health care reform measures
