This short film personalizes the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Central Mozambique where the prevalence of the virus is the highest in the country. Individuals, families, and communities impacted by this disease are featured; real people tell their stories, struggle with poverty, loss, and disease, and find hope. Health Alliance International is directly involved in supporting the public health system to provide free treatment and care for AIDS patients, particularly at the Day Hospitals in Manica and Sofala Provinces. (6 minutes. Produced by Wendy Johnson, Clayton Farr, and Mel Halbach.)
