Job: Product Interaction Model Designer

Product Interaction Model Designer, FILTER
Location: Eastside

Job Description:
From paper planes to paper prototyping.

Are you a real ideas kind of guy or gal? Someone who can take a concept and improve it exponentially (even when it’s already pretty darn good)? FILTER is looking for a Product Interaction Model Designer for a 3 month (plus) contract position in Redmond. In this position, you’ll leverage user research, marketing focus groups, and 1:1 usability sessions to create appropriate interaction models for the next version of a widely used and universal software program. You’ll work with both static Photoshop illustrations and dynamic Flash prototypes to deliver the prototypes and mockups used to drive research and testing. You’ll also be responsible for communicating requirements and proposed functionality to the engineering teams.

Feeling like this job would be over your head? We’re not necessarily looking for someone in a senior position provided that you’re full of ideas, have a fresh and innovative outlook and a willingness to tackle the job. Candidates straight out of HCI grad school or within 3 years of college graduation will be considered if they demonstrate exceptional skills and attitude. If you’ve got prototyping nailed (from paper to high-fidelity) and a strong conceptual mind, then don’t be shy. We’d love to hear from you.
