Congratulations to Jake Ashcraft, Master student in HCDE, who was awarded a $1000 STC scholarship.

From the STC Puget Sound website: The scholarship fund was originally (1986) set up to honor two Society Fellows who made significant contributions to STC (at both the chapter and society levels) and to the technical communication community as a whole. Among their many accomplishments, James W. Souther and Myron L. White were instrumental in establishing the Puget Sound Chapter. More recently, the chapter decided to also award a scholarship, and the two scholarships are awarded at the same time through one application period.
