UPA Innovation Roundtable

The purpose of our Innovation Roundtable Series is to learn about exciting new groups, technologies and products related to Usability and User Research. To kickoff this series, Microsoft’s Usability Central is hosting an event at their Bravern Offices in Bellevue. The event will start off with light appetizers and a social mixer. Then we will begin the roundtable. Usability Central will be introducing the launch of the Usability Participant Recruiting Association (UPRA) and YouTest…a Participant Recruiting Special Interest Group. It’s a chance to a give your opinions and contribute to the Usability community.

UPA Networking Night

Come join us for a night of networking and an excellent talk from Bill Fulton! Bill started the User Research Group at Microsoft’s Games Studios and now runs in own research company called Ronin User Experience (http://roninux.com/inquire.html).

Project Survey

One of our MS students iw working on a class project with an international spin – collaboration software allowing students and faculty to search for and share projects globally. Video interns wanted

Expand your portfolio

The UW Graduate School is seeking interns (for credit) for a series of video projects during spring quarter.

  • Interns will create several videos — both short (1-2 minute) and longer (5+ minutes) for web use
  • We seek interns who already have technical expertise, but who want to expand their story-telling experience and build their portfolios.
  • Our interns will gain experience/knowledge by working with digital
    media communication and marketing staff in the Graduate School.

Online Storytelling with Digital Photos
