The contest was just announced and runs through May 27.
The Centers for Disease Control is looking for an innovative use of technology to raise awareness of influenza and/or educate consumers on ways to prevent and treat the flu. Develop an innovative mobile or web app, data visualization tool, or game using CDC flu data and enter to win. $35,000 in prizes!
We’re challenging our partners and the public to create new ways to use technology with CDC flu data, be it for:
· the web
· a personal computer
· a mobile handheld device
· any platform broadly accessible to the open Internet.
