Think your research might have commercial value?
Interested in how commercialization works at UW?
Wonder about what it takes to launch a start-up?

Join the UW Center for Commercialization for an Entrepreneur Speed-Dating event for grad students and postdocs.

SPEED-DATING: Get ready for four intense back-to-back 20-minute sessions. Participants confer with recognized entrepreneurs with experience in launching successful companies.

Entrepreneur Speed Dating is an invigorating session, pairing UW graduate students and postdocs with C4C’s current and emeritus Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIRs), UW’s Entrepreneurial Faculty Fellows (EFFs), and C4C Technology Managers. Our entrepreneurs serve as an initial sounding board and a source of ideas and practical advice on starting a company. Who knows? Your sessions may spark a longer-term relationship.

Who should date? UW grad students and postdocs who want to explore commercialization opportunities. Those who don’t yet have an idea, but wish to learn more about the start-up process and C4C resources are welcome to discuss their area of research.

When: Feb 15, 2012, 3:00 to 5:30 pm
Where: Atrium of the Paul G Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering, UW Seattle campus
