We provided services in curriculum development and training for
this interdisciplinary center in the UW School of Community Medicine
and Public Health. Our team developed a curriculum for a 2.5-day
course, Communicating the Public Health Message, and we provided
a team to train and evaluate the course at the Montana Public Health
Summer Institute and the Alaska Public Health Summer Institute.
For this client, we also developed a distance learning curriculum,
Behavioral Theory and Intervention, a 15-week course leading to
a certificate in Health Promotion through the University of North
Dakota.
In the summer and fall of 2003 we are collaborating with the Northwest
Center to present the curriculum Communicating the Public Health
Message at sites in Montana, Washington, Alaska, and Idaho.
