Working Together for Successful Transition: Washington State Adolescent Transition Resource Notebook

Instructions for making a hard copy of entire notebook

1. You will need a 2-inch binder with clear pockets on the front and spine.

2. You will need 16 section dividers (or more if you add more sections).

3. You will need the free Adobe Acrobat® Reader® to open the PDF documents. Click here to download the free Adobe® Reader®

4. Notebook cover: print the cover image with the spine image on 17-inch by 11-inch paper using a color (or black and white) printer. Cut the cover image to fit the clear pocket on the front of the notebook and the spine image to fit the clear pocket on the spine of the notebook. Insert in pockets.

5. Print the notebook beginning with the Cover and the Cover Page, followed by the Acknowledgements page, followed by the "How to Use This Notebook" page, etc.

6. You are now ready to print each of the sections. Each section will have a title page that includes artwork from a transition student or young adult, a page that describes the documents included in the section (the Introduction is an exception), and individual documents with their own page numbers and title of the document on the upper right hand side of the page. Insert each section behind the appropriate section dividers.

NOTE: The notebook was designed to print double-sided. If you prefer to print single-sided, you may selectively remove the blank pages.
