Announcement - Youth Leadership Forum

The Governor’s Committee on Disability Issues and Employment is excited to present the Fourth Annual Washington Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) for Students with Disabilities. This is a five-night, six-day innovative and exciting career awareness program that will include many inspiring informative activities to help youth toward their career goals.

Who:
WA State High School Juniors and Seniors (as of December 31, 2002) with disabilities who want to be or are leaders in their communities and schools. Approximately 40-50 students will be selected to attend the Forum through a competitive process.

When:
August 10-15, 2003

Where:
Evergreen State College located in the WA State Capitol, Olympia, WA

Cost:
Students/participants will not be charged to attend this Forum.
