    The VMBHRC is located in the CHDD (Center for Human Development & Disability) Building just south of the University of Washington Medical Center. A University of Washington Campus Map is available for locating the CHDD Building.












    Driving Directions and Parking

    Directions

    From Interstate 5, take exit 168B onto SR 520 toward Bellevue.
    Exit at Montlake Blvd. N.E.
    Make a LEFT at N.E. Pacific Street.
    Make a LEFT at 15th Ave. N.E.
    15th Ave. N.E. becomes Columbia Rd.
    Proceed to the Gate 6 parking toll booth
    For parking, please specify to park at S1 ($11/day, see parking below)
    For drop-off, please specify to be directed to the CHDD building.
    Proceed to the CHDD building, at the 1st floor, room CD176.

    Parking

    A fee is charged for parking in campus parking lots. For more information, go to the UW Parking Services Seattle campus page. We suggest parking at S1, Surgery Pavillion, or the Husky Stadium.

    For Persons with Disabilities

    A visitor who is mobility-impaired should self-identify at a campus gatehouse. The gatehouse Traffic Guide will assign a location for disability (DIS) or wheelchair (WC) parking. For more information about the UW Access guide, see the UW Access guide's website.

    Buses

    The University of Washington/VMBHRC is served by numerous bus routes. Visit the King County Metro Trip Planner page for service routes. Type "University of Washington Medical Center" for the destination. From the UW Medical Center, proceed towards the BB elevators to the 1st floor. On the 1st floor, proceed to the Plaza Cafe dining hall. Exit the Plaza Cafe dinning hall and cross the street to the CHDD Building.
