I do extensive research in evaluating the cognitive workload of in-vehicle interfaces. In-vehicle interfaces in modern automobiles are now capable of delivering internet content and smartphone like experiences to the driver. The smartphone like experience however does not necessarily translate well in the driving domain where driver attention needs to be divided between driving safely and accessing internet content. My research interests are in creating and designing in-vehicle interfaces that are capable of delivering valuable content while minimizing driver distractions.
