Good Eats!

Hey Everyone!

If you were able to make it to last week’s program: Good Eats then that’s great! If not, don’t worry! We have all the information you need right here:

Why You Should Lead a Healthy Lifestyle: Good nutrition + physical activity are an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases and promote your overall health.

Some Tips and Tricks:

  1. Set a Weekly Food Budget: You’re less likely to go over if you plan to eat healthy at the start of the week and try to stick to the budget.
  2. Keep a Healthy Snack with You: You’re also less likely to buy food and go snacking if you keep something healthy on you at all times. Carry an orange or an apple in the morning!
  3. Meal Prep: Take advantage of the kitchen and prepare some healthy meals for yourself to have over the course of the week. Maybe set aside some time on Sunday night to keep yourself healthy and happy.
