Especially for Students

Welcome to Hall Health Primary Care Center’s website! We want you to know about our extensive list of Primary and Specialty Care Clinics and Departments, much more than your typical student health center offers.

You are already eligible for many valuable health services, which are available at no further cost to UW Students who pay the quarterly Services and Activities Fee along with their tuition:

Fees are charged for follow-up visits, preventive care visits (such as routine physicals and annual exams), all procedures and specialty services (such as Mental Health, Physical Therapy, Travel Clinic, laboratory tests, x-rays, etc.). Referrals are easily made for services not available here, as we are part of the UW Physicians Network, which includes the UW Medical Center, UWMC Roosevelt Clinic, Harborview Medical Center, and ten UW Physicians Neighborhood Clinics in the Seattle area.

Most students (about 75%) have some form of health insurance, either through coverage via a family member or the UW Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP). In most cases, HHPCC can bill your insurance for services provided. For those without insurance, it is possible to set up a payment plan. Visit Insurance & Billing for answers to your billing questions.

Access to health care is easy, as appointments are usually available within 24 hours (same day whenever possible). Even without an appointment, you may be seen by one of our many Medical Providers or Consulting Nurses. Your First Visit provides more information.

While you are here, take a tour of our web site, and come back again, as we add new information often. If you have a question, please contact us.
