Learn how to survive a difficult time without making things worse!  These skills will teach ways to manage crisis situations through distracting, self-soothing, and improving the moment.

COURSE 2: INTEPERSONAL EFFECTIVE SKILLS

Improve your relationships and become more assertive!  These skills will teach you how to express your feelings and ask for what you want from others.  You will learn ways to maintain your relationships as well as your self-respect.

COURSE 3: EMOTION REGULATION

Don’t let your emotions control your life!  In this course, you will gain a better understanding of your emotions and how they work. You will learn how to reduce emotional vulnerability and increase positive emotional events.

COURSE 4: MINDFULNESS

Increase your sense of self-awareness and gain control over your mind!  In this course, you will learn techniques for observing and accepting the current moment in a non-judgmental way.  These skills are taught during the first three weeks of each of the first three courses.

What to Expect

The format of these courses will be similar to a class.  You will be expected to complete weekly assignments in which you will practice the skills that have been presented.  Throughout the course you will get feedback and coaching on the use of your skills.
