The Undergraduate Student Process Group is a small process-oriented therapy group open to undergraduate male students. The goal of the group is to provide a safe and confidential space for undergraduate male students to receive support and gain perspective and insight into themselves and their relationships.
Themes are broad and vary. They will include:
- Balancing academic and social life
- Self care
- Family and Intimate partner relationship concerns
- Rapport & Interactions with Professors & Teaching Assistants (TA’s)
- Imposter Syndrome
- Procrastination
- Perfectionism
- Dealing with Depression & Anxiety
- Cultural Adjustment
- Issues of Oppression (e.g. racism, homophobia and sexism)
Group Details
WHEN: Fall Quarter 2009 dates and time TBA for 8 weeks WHERE: Hall Health Primary Care Center, Mental Health Clinic COST: $30.00 per session. Health insurance may cover the cost.
