Beyond Access Academic Coaching

Academic Coaching is one-on-one help that is tailored to the specific challenges you face during college. Your coach will provide support, structure, and feedback in areas such as:

  • Time management
  • Procrastination
  • Study skills
  • Stress management
  • Organizational skills
  • Self-monitoring

Getting started

There are two ways to get started with academic coaching:

  1. Contact the Disability Resources for Students (DRS) office at (206) 543-8924 to request an appointment for Academic Coaching
  2. Stop by Hall Health Center Wednesdays, 8AM-12PM, or Thursdays,1PM-4:30PM, for a drop-in Academic Coaching visit

Your first visit will last 5-30 minutes. All following appointments will vary in duration and frequency based on your individual needs.

Meet your coach

Dr. Nina Parker-Cohen is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes helping college students navigate learning challenges. She has more than 25 years of experience in higher education settings.
