Kathleen Fugere is a family psychiatric mental health nurse-practitioner who has been in the mental health field since 2000. She has previously worked in inpatient psychiatric settings. She received her Bachelor’s of Art in psychology, Bachelor’s of Science in nursing and Masters in nursing all at the University of Washington. She was board-certified as a family psychiatric nurse-practitioner and earned prescriptive authority in 2007. Kathleen provides psychiatric evaluations and follow-up. Her clinical approach takes into account the biopsychosocial aspects of mental health.
Medical Interests
Her clinical interests include eating disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders and acute mental illnesses. She has been involved in treating children, adolescents, adults and families.
Kathleen’s approach is eclectic. She is collaborative with regard to treatment planning and gathers much input from her individual client’s unique beliefs and needs. (RN# is RN00142262; ARNP# is AP30007890)
