Meghann Gerber, PsyD

Licensed Psychologist, Mental Health Therapist

Dr. Gerber received her M.S. in clinical psychology in 2007 and Psy.D. in 2010 from Long Island University in Brookville, NY.  Her most recent work has been providing individual and group psychotherapy as well as crisis intervention to undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students. She also has experience working with adolescents, families, and couples struggling with a range issues including substance use, suicidality, trauma, and questions related to sexual identity.

Her areas of interest include life transitions, cultural issues in identity formation, and addressing post-trauma symptoms. Dr. Gerber's approach to psychotherapy is integrative, reflecting her training in dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness meditation, and contemporary insight-oriented treatment.  She strives to meet individuals where they are and collaboratively establish meaningful therapeutic goals.
