Evaluation & Treatment of Infections

Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs)

Come in person to the Patient Service Center (main entry of Hall Health) and request to see a consulting nurse for a possible UTI. You do not need an appointment.

What is a Urinary tract  infection?

Common Symptoms: painful urination, urgency and frequency of urination.

Sometimes a woman may have: fever, chills, nausea, vomiting and/or back pain which need immediate evaluation as these symptoms could indicate a kidney infection.

Vaginal infections

Symptoms: vaginal discharge, itching and discomfort can be common to several different infections and a diagnosis is made by an exam by  a clinician.
