Jane Fellner is the Physician Champion for the EpicCare electronic medical record implementation for UW Medicine, and the Associate Director for Clinical Information Systems at Hall Health Primary Care Center. She is board certified in Family Practice with a special interest in women’s health care.
Dr. Fellner earned her bachelor's degree at Yale University and her M.D. from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She came to the UW as an intern and resident in family practice, then completed a National Health Service Corps assignment at the Seattle Indian Health Board and continued in practice there for ten years. She returned to campus as a physician at Hall Health Primary Care Center, where she has worked for the last 20 years. She currently spends most of her time optimizing and implementing the EpicCare electronic medical record at UW Medicine's outpatient clinic sites.
I believe that physicians and patients working together achieve the best possible outcomes. Listening to a patient’s story is key, and even short interactions can have lasting impacts on a patient’s health and well-being.
Dr Fellner’s clinical practice focuses on colposcopy and other gyn office procedures, along with routine women’s health care.
