- Detect and treat yeast, vaginal and urinary tract infections.
- Detect and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as herpes, chlamydia, and genital warts.
- Help you assess your risk and do testing for HIV.
- Support you and help you find whatever care you need if you are a survivor of sexual assault.
- Answer your questions about sexual practices and help you learn safer sexual practices.
- Answer your questions about such things as menstrual cramps or irregular periods.
- Talk with you and your partner together or separately about any sexual or reproductive concerns.

Consulting Nurse Service
If you have an urgent question or need during clinic hours, call our consulting nurse at 206-685-1031 and press #1. If she is speaking with another patient when you call, you may leave a message with your name, telephone number and concern and she will call you back.
If you have an urgent medical problem, you may present in person to the Patient Services Center and ask to speak with the consulting nurse. Because the nurse sees patients without a specific appointment time, please allow time to wait.
For urgent medical advice after hours, call the Nurse Consult Service (Harborview Medical Center) at 206-744-2500. A nurse will be able to advise you about your problem, make treatment suggestions, and arrange necessary consultation if you need to be seen on an emergency basis.
