Partner Spotlight:

Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Seattle

Injury Free Coalition for Kids of Seattle was created in November 2002, with a focus on reducing childhood injury in central and south Seattle neighborhoods. Data has shown that children living in these communities are at an increased risk of injury compared to children living in other areas of the city. Injury Free-Seattle is a partnership between Harborview Medical Center, the region's only Level 1 pediatric trauma center, Seattle Children's Hospital, a regional leader in child health and advocacy, and Public Health Seattle & King County, which maintains injury surveillance data and is committed to building and supporting healthy communities.
