These reviews of childhood injury prevention are part of a current effort to make information on effective strategies in medicine and public health available to all. The leader in this is the Cochrane Collaboration, an international effort to provide systematic reviews on all topics in health care. "The aims of the Cochrane Collaboration are to prepare and maintain systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of the effects of health care, and of other evidence when appropriate, and to make this information readily available to decision-makers in all levels of health care systems." Currently, reviews done by members of the Collaboration are available on a CD-ROM, the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. For more information about the Collaboration, please see the web site at http://www.cochrane.org/index.html
