Applications to the History Graduate Program are currently closed.
If you have already filed an application for Autumn 2012 admission please direct any inquiries regarding your application to the History Graduate Office at 206.543.8291 or histgrad@uw.edu.
The Graduate School application system remains open. If you need to apply to the Graduate School or pay your application fee, you may do so at https://www.grad.washington.edu/applForAdmiss/.
Letters of recommendation may still be submitted by your recommenders using our online system. Please direct your recommenders to follow the instructions conveyed to them via email.
File review is currently underway. We expect to convey admissions decisions to applicants beginning in late February.
Applications for Autumn 2013 admission will be available at this location no later than September 1, 2013.
