ACCESS PROGRAM


Since 1995 over 80% of our Ph.D. graduates have secured employment in positions derived from their graduate training; about half of them as tenure-track faculty. During the last four years, our graduates have successfully competed for tenure-track teaching positions at such institutions as Bowdoin College, University of Michigan, University of California--Riverside, Virginia Tech, University of Texas at San Antonio, Northwest College, the University of Utah, Brown University, Carthage College, Simon Fraser, University of British Columbia, University of Virginia, Charles University (Prague), Northern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University, UCLA, the University of New South Wales, Washington University, the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and Linfield College. In addition, recent graduates hold permanent positions with the National Park Service, the Central Intelligence Agency, the University of Washington Press, the Genealogical Society of Utah, and the Center for Military History.
