Post-Baccalaureate Students

For information on applying as a post-baccalaureate student, please see the UW Office of Admissions. Also, please see our Frequently Asked Questions.

The History department offers a post-baccalaureate degree in History. Post-baccalaureate students must complete the normal requirements for a History major.

The History department does not admit post-baccalaureate students directly to the major. You may indicate an intention to declare the History major on your application; once you are admitted to the UW as a post-baccalaureate student you should contact the History Undergraduate Advising Office to inquire about declaring the major.

For detailed information on the admission process, contact the UW Office of Admissions.
