This answer is correct. Hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for all persons with chronic liver disease (especially chronic hepatitis C), patients with multiple sexual partners, men who have sex with men, and for those planning to travel to a region endemic for hepatitis A virus. This vaccine does not contain live virus and does not pose any special risk to HIV-infected persons.
