Therapy

This table lists the most
commonly used anti-androgen agents in cross-hormonal therapy. Note that spironolactone
is the agent of choice in the United States. Although theoretically effective
in blocking the action of testosterone, testosterone uptake inhibitors and growth
hormone releasing antagonists are not commonly used.
