Miller Library Top 20
Borrowers at the Miller Library have been using our Koha online catalog
and circulation system since the fall of 2012. Along with other
benefits, this system allows us to get current data on which topics and
titles are most often used. Trends emerge, allowing us to continue
building our collections, offering resources that will serve more library
visitors better. Over the past 18 months, these 20 items have been

As you can see, many borrowers visit the Miller Library to consult local and regional works on fruit, vegetable, and ornamental gardening. Native and worldwide flora resources are well-used, along with works on special topics in the urban environment, including rain gardens and wildlife. Top items include both scholarly and popular titles, highlighting the value of our collection for students and faculty as well as plant-minded professionals and the general public.
Student Poster Exhibit opens May 9
This year's University of Washington graduate student poster exhibit
at the Miller Library runs May 9 through June 13.
Poster subjects include environmental horticulture, conservation
biology, restoration ecology and much more. We hope you will come for the opening night party Friday, May 9, from 5 to 7 pm.
