Gardening on the Internet
How do I grow a particular plant?
First, try one of the many online encyclopedias listed in the right column in Web Resources - Plant Identification and Selection collected and approved by the Miller Library staff.

Find the website(s) of appropriate clubs and societies (see previous page for how) for your chosen plant. Most will have good cultural information or give you ways to find it.
Your local extension service or Master Gardener program will offer good cultural information. For those in
Western Washington, visit Gardening in Western Washington, sponsored by the Washington State
University Cooperative Extension.

For elsewhere in the United States and Canada, visit PlantFacts from Ohio State University that
includes a
database of Extension Bulletins and other publications from throughout North America.
