Gardening on the Internet

Are there other guides to the Internet for Gardeners?

Yes! Three excellent sources for more ideas are:

Horticulture: Sources for gardeners provides an extensive and well annotated list of gardening portals, reference sites, government databases and regional resources. Written by Kathy Fescemyer, Life Sciences Librarian at Pennsylvania State University and published in the May 2003 issue of College & Research Libraries News.

Gardening Resources on the Web is a very comprehensive guide written by Janet Evans, Library Manager at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and published in the March 2001 issue of Searcher. It is available in its entirety on the web at:

The Gardener's Guide to Finding Answers on the Web by Karen Fletcher is one of the many fine offerings found at The Garden Gate.
