Gardening on the Internet

I'm a gardener, why should I use the Internet?

...because it can serve, inform, inspire and amuse gardeners!

Every day the Miller Library staff receives numerous questions that we answer using the wide variety of horticultural resources available to us: books, magazines, newspaper clippings, CD-ROMs, bulletins, nursery catalogs, etc.

In the last several years we are just as likely to turn to resources available on the Internet to answer these questions.

The purpose of the following "tutorial" is to acquaint you with these Internet resources that we use and to suggest how and when to use them. To do this, we've used typical questions we receive all the time

This tutorial can be followed page-by-page using the directional arrows on the banner below. Or at anytime click below the banner to go back to the topics page to choose what you are particularly interested in.

So click away and have fun, and please let us know any tips or suggestions you've discovered about finding good stuff on the 'Net!
