Miller Library staff share their favorite books

Grace fromthe Garden book cover imageOn exhibit in the Miller Library in June and July are favorite books selected by the six library staff members. Some favorites are scholarly, some literary or artistic while others are practical how-to-grow-it guides. Titles include:

  • Brian Thompson:  Designing with plants by Piet Oudolf with Noël Kingsbury
  • Rebecca Alexander: Hedgerow by John T. White; illustrated by Eric Thomas
  • Carrie Bowman: Grace from the garden: changing the world one garden at a time by Debra Landwehr
  • Tracy Mehlin: Noah’s garden: restoring the ecology of our own back yards by Sara Stein
  • Martha Ferguson: Garden Retreats : creating an outdoor sanctuary by Barbara Blossom Ashmun
  • Laura Blumhagen:  The complete guide to landscape design, renovation and maintenance: a practical handbook for the home landscape gardener by Cass Turnbull
