Art Exhibit: Linda Ann Vorobik

Dr. Linda Ann Vorobik, professional botanist and botanical artist, presents her work in Botanical Illustration: A Living Art as it has evolved during her 25 year career, including tools and methods she uses to create her illustrations, books including her work, and the work itself.

Exhibit runs October 4 through November 29, free public reception October 8, 5 – 7pm at the Miller Library

Miller Lecture: Gordon Collier: A Land Apart

The 16th Annual Elisabeth Carey Miller Memorial Lecture featured Gordon Collier speaking on September 16, 2010. The illustrated lecture  focused on the unique flora of New Zealand’s remote offshore Chatham Islands – where earth meets sky.
